POLE POSITION, CIRCUIT RECORD, FIRST PLACE AND FASTEST LAP!! A poker that fulfills us of joy.
From the highest position of the podium Riccardo Moretti thanks everybody in the Monza track, the temple of speed.
The CIV 2008, which is taking place in Monza one week before the Superbike World Championship, in the 125cc GP class has seen the triumph of the ADV-CRP Racing Honda RS 125GP in front of the Aprilias of Savadori (RCGM) and Ravaioli (Team Semprucci).
Excellent 6th place for Luca Marconi, Riccardo’s team companion, which consolidates the superb job done by the Team with Honda HRC’s support.
Now Riccardo is in second position in Championship and Luca in 6th. The Constructors 1st place cup of Monza will soon fly to Japan, to HRC that strongly believed in our capabilities and development activity.
In a recent interview Roberto Cevolini, chairman of ADV Agency, main partner of CRP Racing, explained: “the Honda Trophy is going like we hoped for sure, but the CIV champ is not going so badly even if it’s not perfect, since last year we started at the first race with a zero on the score table. Of course we were willing just a bit more from Riccardo but Monza will be the best testing bed to proof our bike and his fast riding. The Monza track is not used to host motorcycle races and this will be the aperitif to the Superbike Champ that will run the week after”.
The hard proof was then done and it highlighted and recompensed the great team job: a tight-knit staff for a fierce rider and Honda bike with so much horse power to strike down on the track. They have just to be managed in the right way and CRP racing is demonstrating to be the best team to do so.
